Evesham Bell Tower
We are currently working at Evesham Bell Tower; the magnificent and only remaining structure of the former Abbey complex.
A team of SSHC conservators and masons are tasked with addressing the deteriorating stonework through the removal of sulphation crusts and deposits, stabilising the decaying stonework and mortars, and re-establishing weatherings in order to slow future decay. The images below show the state of the tower prior to the conservation programme.
